Mark and Rachael first met at Blakeney Point in 2001.......

And they've been living and working together since. They have four boys - Jake, George, Charlie and Leo and a Husky called Lightning. Mark also has two older children from his previous marriage; Catherine who's currently at university and Oscar who has recently started an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer.

In addition to being a full time mum, Rachael is also a qualified fork-lift and reach-truck driver, and she can drive pretty much anything with an engine! She has previously worked in the civilian airport industry where she was responsible for marshalling aircraft including driving the push-back trucks which move aircraft around the airfield.

She's a keen water-sports enthusiast and can be found most weekends (regardless of the weather) at Blakeney point. As a self proclaimed "Tom Boy" she's happier wearing overalls than high heels, and she's been studying martial arts for over 25 years, so she's also in charge of credit control.....

Mark spent several years working in the Commercial Diving and Marine Engineering industry, where he was involved in everything from repairs and maintenance of commercial vessels and marine equipment to performing underwater surveys and specialist equipment recovery.

When he's not on the water, he can often be found under it as he's still a keen recreational scuba diver. He's just as happy in the beautiful warm waters of the Mediterranean as he is the cold 'zero vis' of the north sea. When on dry land he enjoys riding motorcycles, racing Karts and tinkering with engines.

So between them, Mark and Rachael have all the skills, experience and most importantly enthusiasm to look after your boat – and keep you on the water.
